Customer Guide
Welcome! This guide walks you through finding Royal Glow, booking an
appointment, and making the most of memberships, loyalty gems, and offers. No
technical knowledge needed — just follow along.
Discovering the salon
You can find Royal Glow in a few ways, and every one of them leads to the same simple booking experience:- The website at theroyalglow.in
- A Google Maps / Google Business listing (4.9★, 86 reviews)
- A QR code poster inside the salon
- An Instagram or Facebook ad
Signing in
Royal Glow uses Google sign-in only — there’s no separate password to remember.1
Click “Sign in with Google”
Start the sign-in from the homepage or header.2
Choose your Google account
Pick the account you’d like to use.3
First time? Complete a quick setup
If it’s your first time, you’ll be taken to a quick one-time setup (onboarding) to complete your profile.First-time setup (onboarding)
The first time you sign in, we collect a few details so we can serve you well:- Name and email (filled in from Google — email can’t be changed)
- Phone number
- Date of birth and gender
- Consent choices:
- Agreeing to the Privacy Policy (required — your data is stored securely on Indian servers and never sold)
- Allowing anonymous usage analytics (optional)
- Receiving offers and updates by email and notifications (optional)
Started a booking before signing in? Don’t worry — we remember what you were
doing. After you sign in, the booking dialog reopens right where you left off.
Booking an appointment
How to open the booking dialog
Booking happens in a pop-up dialog right on the homepage — you’re never sent to a confusing separate page. You can open it by:- Tapping the Book Now button on the homepage or in the header
- Tapping Book This on a service card or an offer
- Following a direct link such as
theroyalglow.in/?book=1(these “deep links” open the booking dialog automatically — they’re what the Google Maps button and the in-salon QR poster use)
The 4 steps
1
Date & time
Your name and email are already filled in. Pick a date (only future dates; closed days are greyed out) and choose an available time slot. Fully booked slots are greyed out.2
Choose a category
Switch between Salon and SPA, then pick one or more categories. One booking is either Salon or SPA, not both — if you want both, make two bookings.3
Choose services
Pick the specific services you want. A running total shows at the bottom (for example, “3 services · ₹3,500.00”). Some spa services let you choose a 60-minute or 90-minute version on the same card.4
Summary
You’ll see “Booking Submitted!” with your booking number, date and time, the services, the total (including 18% GST), and a note that payment is at the salon. You’ll also see your gems balance.Your booking starts as Pending, not Confirmed. That’s normal — see the
next section for what it means.
What each booking status means
A booking moves through clear stages. Here’s what each one means for you: You don’t choose your staff member during booking — the front desk assigns the right person. You can add a note (for example, “prefer Anjali for the haircut”) and they’ll do their best to honour it.Managing your bookings
Go to My Bookings to see everything in one place, split into Upcoming and Past. The actions available depend on the booking’s status:Rescheduling
- You can reschedule a booking up to 2 times.
- Each reschedule must be at least 1 hour before the appointment.
- Need to change it a third time? Cancel and make a fresh booking instead.
Cancelling
- Cancelling more than 4 hours before your appointment is completely free.
- Cancelling within 4 hours is still free, but it’s noted on your account and the team may call to check in. There is never a cancellation fee.
Please show up for confirmed bookings. Missing an appointment without
cancelling is a “no-show.” A few of these add a note to your account; many
no-shows mean future bookings need manager approval. See the
no-show policy for the
details.
SPA memberships
A SPA membership is a prepaid block of spa hours you buy once and use across several visits. It’s great value if you enjoy regular spa treatments.
How memberships work:
- Every tier gives you access to all spa services. The only limit is your remaining hours.
- Each visit deducts the time used from your balance — there’s no payment at the counter for a membership session.
- Memberships are bought and set up by the salon team (visit or call the salon).
- You can have one active membership at a time.
- Hours expire at the end of the period and don’t roll over, so book them in. We’ll remind you 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry.
Memberships don’t earn gems — not on purchase and not on sessions. The value
is in the discounted prepaid hours.
Loyalty gems
Gems are Royal Glow’s reward for being a customer. Here’s the simple version:- Earn: you get 1 gem for every ₹100 you spend on services (rounded down). So a ₹1,300 visit earns 13 gems.
- Redeem: gems unlock specific services from the Gems Catalogue — they work like a reward you cash in, not a rupee discount off your bill.
- Expiry: gems last 365 days from when you earn them, so use them within the year.
- You don’t earn gems on membership purchases or membership sessions.
- You can’t use gems and an offer on the same booking — pick whichever saves you more.
Offers and combos
The Offers page shows current promotions — for example “20% off facials” or a combo bundle price. A few rules:- You can use one offer per day.
- Offers are applied by the receptionist at checkout (not during online booking).
- Offers can’t be combined with gems on the same visit.
- Offers apply to salon services, not spa memberships.
